About the work
These two vertical pieces share a similar aesthetic: a central golden panel of text with a massive, stylised white script of "Allah" at the bottom. The background is a rich cerulean blue decorated with gold floral vines. The Verse: The text within the golden rectangular panels is again Ayat al-Kursi.
